Seasonal Silliness

In the hands of the people I associate with a simple request to intercept a delivered-to-the-door Christmas ham for some out of town friends resulted in a string of increasingly strange scenarios that manifested themselves as drawing requests involving said ham.

It's necessary to mention that I'm 75% sure I've got another cold brewing and tonight I'm achy and tired... BUT, since I love these people I decided to go ahead and draw an overly-festive ham anyway... even though I'm desperate to lay on the couch and watch A Muppet Christmas Carol.

It's also necessary to mention that I took none of their actual suggestions and instead did my own thing.

Bonus: a sort-of-cute thumbnail I did of the ham being transported.

So THAT'S Where They Go...

Said my friend Mike: "There's got to be a monster than steals socks and Tupperware containers."

I haven't the faintest idea what the conversation was prior to this statement but that's where I came in.

"Are you still doing your drawing-per-day blog, Sarah? You should draw the monster that steals just one of each pair of socks and all the Tupperware containers."

So I did... and I liked it! A lot.

Christmas Turtle

When I say "turtles" what's the first word that comes to mind? Right! Christmas!

Actually, this is my annual spiffing up of the envelope in which I mail gift cards. This year's recipient is my step-niece (is that a thing?) who enjoys turtles.

Turtles it is!

The address has, of course, been blurred because, you know... the internet.
