Yesterday was happily spent with lots of good friends and lots of good food and a Fla-Vor-Ice induced fit of giggles among all adults present.
When I'm with so many silly people (and their equally silly kids) I usually come away with several great drawing ideas. One of the kids, a four year old with a phenomenal range of facial expressions, ran up to his mother and said "I drink tornadoes!" and then zoomed off into the distance. When I stopped laughing long enough for an explanation I found out that he was, in fact, Tornado Boy and that he helps people by drinking tornadoes. I loved that statement all on its own, though. I drink tornadoes. I thought it was a great demonstration of four-year-old confidence.
