My mom and aunt just returned from a two week trip to Hawaii (*obligatory grumbling/bitterness/jealousy*). While looking at her pictures I came across one of some seemingly out of place poultry in Kauai. "What's with the chickens?" I asked. It turns out that the winds from Hurricane Iniki in 1992 redistributed the residents of several Hawaiian chicken farms and they've since multiplied and are now feral.
I found the thought of chickens being blown around in high winds like so much dandelion fluff HILARIOUS.
No one else did... at least not as much as me. Story of my life.
Anyway, here's some chickens in the wind. It was funnier in my head - most things usually are.
